Ask anything…
Name the tool with an @mention when you know where the answer lives. Leave it out and Glimpse attaches the ones the question needs, then reads them at the same time.
Email, Slack posts, Linear issues, pull requests and note writes stop in an approval deck as drafts. A quit or a crash keeps the draft rather than sending it.
What Glimpse carried out somewhere else is kept locally with its state and its link, so “did that go out, and where did it land?” has an answer an hour later.

Glimpse reads your screen only once you’ve turned Screen Context on and pressed the key, opens one of your services only when a question needs it, and never writes to anyone else until you press the button yourself.
Screen Context is off until you turn it on. Then Glimpse lifts the focused document through the macOS Accessibility API — whole pages, not just the pixels in view — and falls back to an on-device screenshot and OCR only when an app exposes no text.
No standing sync. A service is read on the turn a question needs it. Meeting follow-ups only check which call app holds the microphone — Glimpse never records or listens.
Passwords, API keys, tokens and card numbers are stripped on-device, and a screenshot is withheld entirely while one is visible. Email addresses and phone numbers are kept, so Glimpse can act on them.
Mail is read from Apple Mail's own store, not Google's API. Google data only ever goes to Anthropic, OpenAI or Google directly — never an aggregator — and conversations that read mail stay out of memory.
Email, Slack posts, Linear issues, pull requests and vault notes wait as drafts in the approval deck. What did go out is kept in a local ledger with its state and its link.
Keys live in the macOS Keychain; history lives in an encrypted database on your Mac, synced only to your own iCloud. Glimpse can hide itself from screen shares, and deleting your account removes it everywhere.
