Everything Glimpse does,
one hotkey away.
Glimpse reads your screen, suggests the next move, and reaches for the right model or the live web, all without breaking your focus. Here’s the full picture.
It already sees what you see.
Screen-aware by default
Glimpse silently captures your active window and reads it with Apple's on-device Vision OCR, so the AI already knows what you're looking at, an email, a spreadsheet, an error message, a contract.
Proactive intent detection
Open an email and Glimpse offers “Write follow-up.” A meeting invite becomes “Draft agenda.” Source code becomes “Explain this.” One tap runs it with your screen as context.
Visual recognition
Opt in to send the screenshot itself to vision-capable models so Glimpse understands layout, graphs, and images the text alone can't capture. Off by default, auto-disabled when a secret is on screen.
Image generation
Ask Glimpse to generate a logo, icon, illustration, or picture and it creates the image inline, without leaving your flow.
The right model, plus the live web.
Multi-model, your choice
Anthropic (Fable 5, Opus 4.8, Sonnet 4.6, Haiku 4.5), the OpenAI GPT-5 family, Perplexity Sonar, and Google Gemini 2.5. Bring your own keys, stored only in your Mac's Keychain.
Free tier, no key required
A built-in free model works the second you sign in, before you add any key of your own. Start chatting instantly.
Web search with cited sources
Flip the globe toggle to let Claude search the web, or use Perplexity Sonar for always-grounded answers. Every reply lists its sources.
Built around how you actually work.
Open a PR with #PR
Type #PR and Glimpse commits the work already in your repo, pushes the branch, and opens the pull request with a title and description written from the diff.
PR & issue review
With a pull request or issue already open on screen, ask Glimpse to surface risky changes, condense a long thread, or help draft the next response.
Zaplinks
Bookmark any website with a hotkey, then reopen it instantly from Glimpse whenever you type its / command.
Voice dictation
Hold the right Command key and speak instead of typing. Your question lands directly in Glimpse while your hands stay on the work.
Multi-window context
Choose multiple app windows or displays from a visual picker and ask one question across all of them. Every selection arrives as its own context source.
Skills
Define reusable instructions like /humanize or /summarize and invoke them inline in any conversation, your go-to prompts as one-word commands.
Projects
Bundle custom instructions and a knowledge base of files (PDF, Word, text) into a named Project that's carried into every conversation.
Files & pasted context
Attach up to 5 documents per message or turn a long paste into a clean snippet so the next answer has the source material it needs.
Conversation history & memory
Full history with local full-text search, plus an automatic memory layer that learns your role, tools, and preferences so each session is more personal than the last.
Selectable answers
Select across any answer and right-click to “Explain this” or ask a follow-up about that exact part, no re-typing.
Resume, pin, and edit
A resume hotkey reopens your last conversation, pin the panel to keep it on screen, and edit-and-resend any prompt.
Watch anywhere
Type /netflix (or a site name) for a floating, always-on-top player that rides over every Space and fullscreen app.
Ambient & invisible
A menu-bar app with no dock icon. It opens over any app in under a second and gets out of your way just as fast.
Privacy-first by design.
On-device OCR
Your screen is read locally by Apple's Vision framework. Pixels become text on your Mac.
Secrets redacted
A privacy redactor strips API keys, secrets, emails, and phone numbers before anything is sent or stored.
Screenshots are opt-in
The image is never sent unless you turn it on, and it's auto-withheld when a secret is on screen.
Encrypted at rest
Local history and memories are AES-GCM encrypted with a key that never leaves your Mac.
Your keys, your Keychain
Bring-your-own API keys live only in the macOS Keychain, never in plaintext.
Notarized & sandboxed
Signed, notarized, and App Sandboxed, with no Accessibility permission required for the hotkey.
From shipping a PR to reading the fine print.
Open a pull request with one command, then use the same hotkey across contracts, documentation, and pages in languages you don’t speak.
